SERVICE

Women of Today passionately believe in making the world a better place by serving others in our community. The needs of every community varies so chapter members choose service projects to sponsor in their area.

GROWTH

Women of Today provides opportunities for members to experience personal and professional growth in areas such as self-esteem, communication skills, confidence, and working effectively with others. Personal Enrichment courses are offered on a variety of topics. Support is provided internally as well as from outside sources. Leadership opportunities exist at all levels of the organization.

FELLOWSHIP

Membership in Women of Today provides opportunities to develop friendships with people who share similar interests. It is a great way to make friends in your community, state and nation! Every chapter holds a variety of social activities for members to get together and have fun!

We, the United States Women of Today, are dedicated

Records and Recognition

Sunshine Club

Sunshine club was designed for our members and families. This area celebrates birthdays or anniversaries, and offers support during challanges and losses.

This area covers a wide variety of projects whenever a service is provided to our communities, either directly or indirectly. This area promotes ideas and activities that allow youth to discover and experience the importance of volunteering, and also promotes foundations related to youth activities such as:

  • Birthday Bags

  • Outstanding Young Adult Award

  • Outstanding Person with Developmental Challanges

Breaking Free

The Priority Area program changes every three (3) years.  Breaking Free is a Minnesota-based non-profit and social justice/social change organization founded in 1996. Every year, Breaking Free helps an average of 400-500 women and girls escape systems of prostitution and sexual exploitation through advocacy, direct services, housing, and education.  This programming area encourages members, chapters and districts to become educated about and do fundraising help these women and girls.
